Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit!

Ever since I was a teenager I’ve said, “Rabbit, Rabbit” on the first of the month and “Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit” on the first of the year. Supposedly, if you say it before you say anything else, you have good luck all month and/or year. Seems like we could use a lot of world-wide luck, so Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit everyone! (and Happy New Year too.)

PS I have no idea why it’s “Rabbit, Rabbit”. I think my friend read this in a Trixie Belden book–yes, I live my life based on a serial kid’s book. Also, yes, I have had a pretty lucky life, so as first yearly words go, these seem to be good ones.
