“Rabbit, Rabbit” Details: I tried the “Trixie Belden” approach and made a wish the night before. It worked too. I wished to faithfully do my new home MFA writer’s program and I did.
Movies Seen:
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Brokeback Mountain (This movie stayed with me for weeks. Really liked it.)
Elf (Exactly the kind of silly humor I like.)
Books Read:
The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Book 3: Ptolemy’s Gate by Jonathan Stroud (Good book. I love it when the third book in a series is as good or better than the other ones.)
TV I Enjoyed:
Veronica Mars
Bones (my new addiction)
The Daily Show
The Colbert Report
My Name is Earl
Firefly (watched a couple episodes in French this time)
Music I Listened To:
Same old CDs. I need to get some new music. Any suggestions?
Fun Things I Did:
Watched the Academy Awards and bet with my Aunt about who would win. (We tied.)
Went to a Novel Writing Workshop held by my local SCBWI chapter
Sub Jobs:
Big Sub Job Experiment– I subbed for the same second grade class for 5 days and then subbed for a first grade class the next day. Good experience. I learned I still enjoy teaching but it’s a way more extroverted job than I’m up too. Six hours of interacting with some 25 plus people tires me to the bone. Once a week subbing with four days at home writing? More my speed.
Misc. Other Stuff:
Finished the second draft of my middle grade novel. Yay!
Dance class is finally back. Another yay!
I love “Elf”!
Because of that movie I spent a whole day watching the Die Hard series with my dad, cutting a million snow flakes and putting them up all over the living room… good times!
(((HUGZ)))
I loved “Elf” too. I made my daughter watch it as soon as I finished. She loved it too. Your snowflake story is so cute!
