February 2007: InBrief

Hightlights:

February 9: Got the stomach flu while subbing.  Managed to make it home before throwing up.

February 11: Posted my goal to finish 3rd draft by end of March.

February 12:  All healthy and able to sub again.

February 13-19: Lots of snow, sleet, and ice Tuesday, so kids were let out of school early and didn’t go back until the next Tuesday. Read several good books while the kids had their Internet Gaming Café.

February 20 – March 5: Pretended I could actually finish my 3rd draft by the end of March.

March 14:  Finally realized if I’m going to parent, read, sub, and have a life, the end of June is a more realistic finish date for my 3rd draft.

TV Watched:

**        Battlestar Galactica: How did this show go from blowing my mind to boring me silly?  So far the March episodes are a bit better.

****    Friday Night Lights: Currently one of my favorite shows.

***      Gilmore Girls: Best possible way they could have made up for their plot mistake with Lorelai and Chris.

****    Heroes: My other favorite show now.

***      The O.C.: Satisfying series finale, especially the Team Julie stuff.

****    Supernatural:  Still fun and tense.

***      Veronica Mars: This show doesn’t have the emotional punch it once did but I still enjoy it.
