July SCBWI Conference in Westminster

Bought an mp3 player- Wow! It’s like living in a movie montage: Rowena walking to the store, Rowena cleaning the house, Rowena riding metro.  

L.A. Trip:

-August SCBWI Conference in L.A. w/ ZQ & Laura

-Hanging out w/ ZQ

-Hanging out w/ Ladytiamat

-Meta’s Uno Party

-Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier

-Celebrity Sighting: Enrico Colantoni  (aka Keith Mars) crossing the street to the Celebrity Scientology Center for their annual festival with what looked like his wife and two young daughters. 

-Tons of good food

-A whole relaxing week of books, writing, & TV talk, games, music, and fun

The new school year starts. Yay!

  1. I only get 1/2 star more than Stephenie Meyer? Ack!

    Twilight is seriously one of the worst books I’ve ever read. I told Tia I was going to mail it back to the publisher. And New Moon is the second one, right? Why are you still reading? What am I missing?

    • Heh. Yes, and this is why when Ladytiamat and I were talking I said not to expect too much because I had a hunch you’d feel this way. Don’t ask me why, I just did, and I can’t explain why I loved it and you didn’t. I just thought that would probably be the case.

      Yes, New Moon is the second one. I haven’t read the third one yet.

    hey, robin, as always, i love reading your journal…you are inimitable!! i love that about you! however, i am not familiar with any of the books, music or much of the tv…but i do love “monk” in english :)…you keep me on my toes, tho…so glad you had such a great time in LA…right up your alley! love you, gal, AG
